Personal Data Processing Policy

By applying for a job offer on the Grenoble INP – UGA website, you authorize Grenoble INP – UGA (hereinafter referred to as the “Recruiter”), as the data controller, to collect your personal data and use it as part of the recruitment process and any hiring procedure.

We collect and process the following data: your name(s), first name(s), email address, phone number, resume, and any other optional information you wish to share.

Your data will be used to contact you, process your application, and potentially prepare an employment contract.

You are not required to provide this data. The processing of your data is based on your consent, including when collected based on the Recruiter’s legitimate interest in processing your application.

If you refuse, your data will be deleted from all our databases. However, please note that any failure or refusal to provide your data will cancel the application process.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (GDPR), applicable from May 25th , 2018, and French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, relating to information technology, files, and freedoms, you have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR);
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR);
  • Right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR);
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR);
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR);
  • Right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR).

These rights are personal and can only be exercised by the individual who provided the data to the Recruiter.

Your data may be retained by the Recruiter for a maximum period of 24 months. After this period, you will receive an email asking you to update your data. If you do not reply within 10 days, your data will be deleted from the databases.

Your data is not subject to automated processing. Appropriate technical, organizational, and security measures are taken to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or loss of your data. Your data is hosted in data centers located within the European Union for the entire duration of processing. Unless otherwise required by law, regulation, or court decision, access to your data will be restricted to employees within the Recruiter’s organization and, where applicable, to its clients when they need to consult and/or use it for the purposes described above.
